Chevelle was a car manufactured by General Motors under the brand name Chevrolet.The Chevelle was the entry to the mid sized muscle car battle from Chevrolet.The 1st model was released by Chevrolet in 1964.the high performance version of Chevelle was Chevelle SS.

The SS had many engine models.all of them were V8s.the big block version was more powerful out of the V8s. These engines were the most powerful engines at that era..And those engines are legends at today too.Due to the power,luxury,design, the Chevelle had a very popular market in 1960s.
